Plot Synopsis

THE TWISTED WHISKERS SHOW offers a glimpse into a warped world where our pets try to be more like us, finding themselves in situations ranging from the ridiculous to the absurd. The series features cats, dogs, and many other whiskered animals: Goosers is a dim-witted yellow lab that is loyal, trustworthy and protective of his owner, Claude; Yawp is a feisty little puppy with big blue eyes; Dander is naive cat who gets into trouble outside a litter box, and he and his pal Yawp are trying to get home after falling off a moving truck; Flouncie has a self-image problem -- she thinks she's dainty but she's really a huge dog who doesn't know her own strength; Dine & Dash are two streetwise alley cats with black-and-white prison stripes -- Dine is the fast talking leader, while Dash is the lovable dope; Mr. Mewser is an effete housecat with tuxedo markings who lives alone in a huge Victorian mansion with mice as indentured servants; Smidgeon is Mr. Mewser's little mouse butler, and he and Mewser like each other more than either would like to admit; Tiny Head is an optimistic and oblivious tabby cat with the body of an adult cat, the head of a kitten and the voice of a helium addict; Cutie Snoot is the cutest -- and most devlish -- little kitten with pink fur to ever walk the planet; Von Ripper is a nasty guard dog who looks like a shark on four legs with his sharp teeth and silvery grey coat; Zippy the Greyhound is a retired racing dog who is shell-shocked from too many years on the track; Ird the Bird is a cute little blue bird with a voice that sounds like a cross between John Wayne and a drill sergeant; Sinister Squirrel is a crazy squirrel identified by a chunk of fur missing from his tail. On the day the new channel premiered, The Hub aired the U.S. premiere of this series on 10/10/10 at 10am.
