Plot Synopsis

Each half-hour episode of TRUE NIGHTMARES: TALES OF TERROR tells the tale of two frightening real-life crimes, deaths or disappearances -- often with investigations that lead to the supernatural. Episodes include:

"Honor Thy Mother" (Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 10pm): Ed Gein's grief at the loss of his mother leads to frightening tales of murder. A random twist of fate raises questions about the death of a thrill-seeking teenager.

"Dig Up the Dead" (Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 10:30pm): The death of a devoted father and husband in Indianapolis reveals a shocking secret. A doctor's devotion to his patient causes him to spiral into a disturbing, distorted reality.

"Battle Lines" (Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 10pm): A simple dispute between neighbors escalates into a deadly conflict with unlikely suspects. And an entrepreneur with a unique invention is believed killed in a deadly explosion.

"Deadly Cures" (Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 10:30pm): Two sisters journey from London to Washington in pursuit of a health cure with deadly consequences. And a town is divided over the belief that a ghost is haunting local women.

"The Doll Collector" (Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 10pm): A string of disappearances in the American West leads investigators to a horrifying residence. And the gravesites of young girls are being desecrated by a disturbed doll collector.
