Plot Synopsis

Growing up in the shadow of her Triad father, Angie craves an independent life of her own. Defying her father's wishes, she takes on a gig as an undercover bodyguard for famous actress Ling Yun in an elaborate plan to get closer to her heartthrob, superstar Xu Yi Hang, despite the rumors of Ling and Xu's romantic coupling. Talent agent Sophia instructs Angie to hide her triad links. As Lin Gui scrambles to cover her tracks, Angie proves her worth to a reluctant Ling Yun. Yi-hang reveals to Angie his "fauxmance" with Ling Yun, whose troubled past comes to light. Angie hears Sophia's heart-rending family story. As sparks fly between Angie and Yi-hang, Ni Kun mobilizes all resources to locate his renegade daughter. Wang Jin-guo tightens the screws on Ling Yun. On Friday, December 6, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the entire six-episode first season of TRIAD PRINCESS.
