Plot Synopsis

Using archival footage, computer-generated video, and first-person interviews with military experts, TOP SECRET WEAPONS REVEALED showcases never-before-seen weapons, reveals their origins, and introduces viewers to the extraordinary people that invented them. Each 60-minute episode chronicles the world's weirdest weapons -- some brilliant, others far-fetched, and even a few epic failures -- that were each constructed to solve a tactical or strategic problem, such as overcoming Nazi defenses on D-Day, mounting a surprise attack over water, or safely moving an agent back and forth across enemy lines. Experts include: Prof. Brian J. Ford, author of "Secret Weapons"; David Willey, the curator of The Tank Museum in Bovington; Prof. Stephen Badsey, a military historian; and many more.
