Plot Synopsis

TINY PARADISE is a half-hour reality series that follows couples, families and friends as they build tiny homes in idyllic locations. From a glass house on the beaches of Mexico to a Colorado mountain retreat designed out of a sheep wagon, these adventurous homeowners follow their dreams to build their own small slice of paradise. Each 30-minute episode features a different tiny home builder, including: a Denver couple moving to their own personal paradise in Mexico, where they are looking to connect with nature and live a more relaxed lifestyle in the jungles of Tulum; a woman and her best friend, who decide to build a tiny home in the jungle paradise of Hilo, HI; a woman, who decides to move back to her childhood home of Pahoa on the Big Island of Hawaii, where she designs a beautiful and secluded tiny home that will help her pursue her dream of living simply again; a couple who dreams of setting up camp in the Rocky Mountains so they're building a tiny home in Ridgeway, CO, where their dream home is a shepherd's wagon tiny house; and many more.
Season 2 of TINY PARADISE premiered on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 9-10pm ET/PT, as HGTV debuted back-to-back new episodes:

"Tiny Natural Tropical Refuge" (9pm): A furniture builder and master craftsman uses foraged and reclaimed materials to build a special indoor-outdoor tiny house for his family of four in Kauai. On the outside, curved tree branches form the roofline over a wraparound deck with an outdoor shower and fire-heated tub. The creativity continues inside with driftwood accent pieces and a bamboo rollout loft.

"Wine Lovers' Bread Truck" (9:30pm): A couple of vineyard workers break the rental cycle by transforming a vintage bread truck into the tiny home of their dreams in the middle of California wine country. This mobile tiny home has a variety of rustic design features and multi-functional pieces including a couch that's also a bed and table, a rolling stair-closet combo and an alchemist cabinet for their wine that's built right into their shower wall. The nostalgic truck also has a motorized deck that unfolds into a patio -- the perfect place to sip wine by any vineyard they choose to park near.
