Plot Synopsis

Author Tim Ferriss applies his rapid-learning techniques to deconstruct tasks he's never done before, showing viewers how in only one week they can accomplish things they never thought possible. Ferris takes a crash course with an expert to learn basic skills, practices and keeps teaching himself, and then seven days later performs his newfound skills in front of an audience. In each 30-minute episode, Ferris takes a crash course to learn a new skill or activity, including: drumming with music legends Stewart Copeland (The Police) and Chris Frazier (Foreigner); the art of high-speed racing with rally-car professionals; and everything else from mastering the art of dating to starting a new business. THE TIM FERRISS EXPERIMENT was one of three shows to debut on HLN primetime as part of Turner's new multi-platform health and wellness entertainment brand upwave ("Live life on the up").
