Plot Synopsis

THIS JUST IN is a half-hour comedy series that follows Liz Sandler, a socially awkward teenage girl, who arrives at a new school and falls quickly into a group of rather eclectic friends each with their own quirks. They find that they have a unique bond all centering around Sunnybrook High School's television channel. Throughout each episode, Liz breaks the fourth wall quite often vlogging her commentary on her day which allows the viewer to be "her best friend." Liz's classmates include: Cassie, a headstrong artist with a passion for social justice; Abby, the new girl from London; Austin, captain of the wrestling team and all around hunk; Martha, an intellectual and genius, who does not care about fitting in with her random outbursts and odd ideas; Rob, who comes from a family of magicians and might be found practicing his ninja skills or building a pizza-making robot; sharp dresser Rex, the Editor-In-Chief of the school newspaper; Becca, the "Princess of Sunnybrook" and Tyler's girlfriend; Tyler, the most talented and popular guy at Sunnybrook High School, who'd rather be meditating on the deeper meaning of the cosmos than participating in a popularity contest; and her older brother, total goofball Joe, who's a party animal extraordinaire.

On Friday, November 24, 2017 at 8:30am ET/PT, Pop premiered "A Tji Thanksgiving (Part 2): Friends and Family," the season finale of THIS JUST IN. In the season ender, everyone competes to raise funds for charities and will be surprised at the final outcome.
