Plot Synopsis

Hosts Eddie Trunk, Don Jamieson and Jim Florentine discuss, dissect and debate all things hard rock and heavy metal for 60 minutes of non-stop mayhem. Guests for Season 11, which started on Saturday, August 12, 2012, included: David Draiman (Disturbed); Russell Allen, Mike Orlando (Adrenaline Mob); Bobby Blotzer (Ratt); Steve Riley, Phil Lewis (L.A. Guns); Geoff Tate (Queensryche); Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society, Ozzy Osbourne); Joey Kramer, Brad Whitford (Aerosmith); Tom Petersson (Cheap Trick); Steve Harris (Iron Maiden); Ann, Nancy Wilson (Heart); Lita Ford; Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony (Chickenfoot, Van Halen); King Diamond (King Diamond, Mercyful Fate); Mark Tremonti (Alter Bridge, Creed); and more. Debuting on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 11pm ET, Season 12 featured these guests: Jason Newsted (former Metallica bassist/Newsted); Corey Taylor & Josh Rand (Stone Sour); Rex Brown (Pantera, Kill Devil Hill) and Sebastian Bach; Jake E. Lee (former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist / Badlands) and Rick Allen (Def Leppard); Queensryche (Scott Rockenfield & Todd La Torre) and Dave Mustaine (Megadeth); Rob Zombie & John 5 and Tom Keifer (Cinderella); Scott Gorham & Ricky Warwick (Thin Lizzy/Black Star Riders) and Neil Fallon (Clutch); and Buck Dharma (Blue Oyster Cult) & Kix (Steve Whiteman & Brian Forsythe). Plus, for its twelfth season, THAT METAL SHOW returned with fan-favorite segments "Stump the Trunk" and "The Vault," while reviving the "Guest Musician" spot and adding two new segments: "Metal Modern," featuring an online video chat with the biggest names in metal and hard rock from the far reaches of the globe; and "Take It or Leave It," where the hosts discuss an array of current topics and share their overly biased opinions. THAT METAL SHOW returned to New York City for its thirteenth season, which premiered on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11pm ET on VH1 Classic. After filming in Los Angeles for multiple seasons, TMS went back to The Big Apple to shoot week to week in front of a live studio audience. For the Season 13 premiere, Eddie, Don and Jim welcomed Avenged Sevenfold vocalist M. Shadows to set for the first time.

On Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 9pm ET, VH1 Classic premiered the fourteenth season of THAT METAL SHOW, with two guests -- Geddy Lee of Rush and John Petrucci of Dream Theater -- in the season opener. Subsequent episodes of Season 14 included guests Frank Bello, Charlie Benante, Scott Ian, John 5, Chris Jericho, Kerry King, Dave Lombardo, Zakk Wylde, Michael Schenker, Ace Frehley, Frankie Banali, Marky Ramone, Darryl McDaniels, Gary Holt, Taylor Momsen, Max Cavalera, Mark Farner, Andy Biersack, and more.
