Plot Synopsis

In Season 4 of 16 AND PREGNANT, they were moms-to-be. Now, in this series they must face the realities and challenges of life after childbirth: marriage, relationships, family support, adoption, finances, graduating high school, starting college, getting a job, and moving out to create their own families. This series follows four young women: Alex, who juggles three part-time jobs as she attempts to finish high school, all while raising her daughter, Arabella, with very little help from her baby's father and on-and-off again boyfriend, Matt; Briana, who wants her baby to have a father figure, struggling with whether or not she can ultimately repair their broken relationship with her baby's father, Devoin, who continues to show disinterest in raising his daughter; Katie, who desperately works to raise her baby, Molli, as best as she can while working a part time job and taking online courses at a local community college -- but her plan shifts when Molli's father, Joey, proposes; and Mackenzie, whose mother, Angie, steps in to help her navigate motherhood so she can continue to go to high school, while her fiance, Josh, is on track to become a rodeo star.

On Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 9pm ET/PT, MTV premiered "Where Are They Now? Mackenzie McKee," a new one-hour TEEN MOM 3 special. Mackenzie has three kids, runs a fitness business, and has a husband who doesn't understand how hard she works. On top of all this, she receives the worst news of her life when her mom Angie is diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
