Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila with ANW fan-favorite Kacy Catanzaro as the sideline reporter, TEAM NINJA WARRIOR: COLLEGE MADNESS is a five-part special event during which 16 teams, pulled from some of the most historical and deep-seeded collegiate rivalries, run the dual course which includes even more challenging obstacles. Both sets of teams are comprised of three people -- two men and one woman -- who battle it out on this amped-up version of the world's most intense obstacle course. In each one-hour episode, four of the college teams race against each other, with each individual win giving the team more points. At the end of the show, the two teams left standing will face-off in a relay race with additional obstacles -- and the winner between the two moves on to the finals. The following rival colleges and universities and athletes go head-to-head for this tournament: UCLA vs USC; Florida vs. Georgia; TCU vs. Houston; Michigan vs The Ohio State University; Wisconsin vs Maryland; Stanford vs Colorado; Oklahoma vs Texas A&M; and UCONN vs MIT.
On Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 8pm ET/PT, Esquire Network premiered the season finale of TEAM NINJA WARRIOR: COLLEGE MADNESS, as the four finalists -- The University of Georgia, MIT, UCLA and University of Wisconsin -- battle it out for the first ever College Championship.
