Plot Synopsis

TAMAR BRAXTON: GET YA LIFE! is a one-hour reality series that centers on Tamar Braxton, who nearly lost everything, including herself. She is determined to turn her life around and take matters into her own hands by sharing her truth in this docu-series, which follows her every move. However nothing can prepare Tamar for the most epic journey of her life. Cameras continue rolling during Tamar's most vulnerable hours as she invites love back into her life with her new boyfriend David, relaunches her music career, navigates co-parenting with her ex and battles the pressure to reconcile and reunite with her family. Originally scheduled to debut Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 10pm ET/PT on WE tv, TAMAR BRAXTON: GET YA LIFE! was delayed at the last minute because of Tamar's health issues. Six weeks later -- on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 9pm -- WE tv premiered TAMAR BRAXTON: GET YA LIFE! In the series opener, "The Journey Begins," Tamar begins an epic journey to turn her life around; in a series of shocking revelations and extreme breakthroughs, the cameras follow Tamar's every move as she reclaims love, reboots her career and battles to reconcile with family.
