Plot Synopsis

In this reality series, Tabatha Coffey, who has devoted her entire professional life to achieving excellence in hair design and education, brings her years of hands-on experience to help transform struggling businesses. In the first three seasons, this series, known as TABATHA'S SALON TAKEOVER, followed the charismatic former SHEAR GENIUS contestant and Australian native as she visited struggling salons in the Los Angeles and New York areas and literally took over the establishments to whip them into shape. Starting with Season 4, Coffey transformed salons and other businesses, including spas, restaurants, and nightclubs. With just a week to work her magic, can she put these businesses back on their feet or is it time for the shops to put up the closed sign for good? In Season 5, which premiered on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 10pm ET on Bravo, Coffey will take over these businesses and salons: Bombshells Salon and Spa (Clarksville, TN); Cafe Treats and Mexican Food (Sherman Oaks, CA); House of Synergy Salon and Spa (Long Beach, CA); Mani-Kir Royale Nail Salon (North Hollywood, CA); Nadia's Family Salon (Englishtown, NJ); Nexgen Barber Shop (Murfreesboro, TN); Studio 157 (Hendersonville, TN); Salon Mogulz (East Nashville, TN); Summers Sports Bar (Manhattan Beach, CA); Top Cuts Salon (Bethpage, NY); and VIP Nightclub and Restaurant (Riverside, CA).
