Plot Synopsis

Along with host Anna Richardson, Dr. Christian Jessen opens the doors to his clinic, investigating how national and individual health are dangerously affected by eating disorders, morbid obesity, extreme diet regimes and body dysmorphia. In each episode, two people with an extreme, dysfunctional approach to food intake -- one is shockingly obese, the other borderline anorexic -- swap diets in an attempt to change the way they view food and eating. OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Monday, August 1, 2011 at 9pm ET.
