Plot Synopsis

Each year during the week leading up to the Super Bowl, two studio hosts countdown the best, funniest and most outrageous Super Bowl commercials of all time. Plus, fans go online ( to vote for their favorites. These adverts are typically considered the most famous, best and well-liked: Apple's 1984 commercial; Coke's heartwarming encounter between Mean Joe Greene and a young fan; Reebok's Terry Tate; the GoDaddy Girls; Budweiser's Bud Bowl; Pepsi's Cindy Crawford commercial; E*Trade's talking babies; Budweiser's Clydesdales; the monkeys of; and more. Plus, this special previews new commercials for the upcoming Super Bowl.
The one-hour 2021 special, hosted again by Boomer Esiason and five-time host Daniela Ruah premiered on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 8-9pm ET/PT on CBS and CBS All Access. This year, SUPER BOWL'S GREATEST COMMERCIAL 2021 is again an interactive countdown special where viewers are able to vote LIVE for the top Super Bowl commercial from the past 20 years. Esiason hosts from the NFL TODAY studio in New York City, while Ruah hosts from SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

Vewers can watch and vote for their favorite Super Bowl commercial from the past 20 years at In the special, Ruah and Esiason present some of the most hilarious, heartfelt and memorable commercials from the past 20 years, and the top two vote-getters will advance to the live vote during the broadcast. Then, viewers will decide the outcome by tweeting the finalists' hashtags, and the ultimate winner will be revealed at the end of the show.
