Plot Synopsis

Host Dr. Juan Rivera travels around the world as he searches for and investigates alternative remedies and treatments and reveals whether these strange cures actually work. In the half-hour premiere episode, Rivera explores the medical use of peyote, a drug the U.S. government has classified a having no medical use.
