Plot Synopsis

Each Friday, openly gay Stephen Guarino and openly straight Mike E. Winfield take a comedic look at the news, sparring with each other over the cultural highs and lows of the week. Weekly segments include: "This Happened," a satirical recap on the biggest headlines of the week; "Unintentional Gay Moments," during which the hosts point out how all of us have gay tendencies; "What Lit Up Twitter," a review and commentary of the pop culture milestones and random hashtags and memes; and "5 Things That Pissed Us Off," a rant about the people and events that irked. THE STRAIGHT OUT REPORT marks the first time that two men of different sexual orientations and races have co-hosted a weekly television show focused on their perspectives around the news of the day
