Plot Synopsis

Singer/songwriters perform and tell stories in front of an intimate audience about their lives, lyrics and careers. VH1 STORYTELLERS has showcased some of the greatest names in music, including David Bowie, Kanye West, Bruce Springsteen, Mary J. Blige, Green Day, Elton John, Coldplay, Jay-Z, Billy Joel, Pearl Jam, Dixie Chicks, Johnny Cash, Foo Fighters, John Mayer, Christina Aguilera and many others.

On Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 7pm ET (live)/7pm PT (tape) on VH1, singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran kicked off an all-new season of VH1 STORYTELLERS, performing live from Dublin, Ireland. For the first time in network history, this series was broadcast live from a venue of special meaning to the performing artist. In this tradition, Sheeran performed and shared personal stories from his life that have inspired his chart-topping songs from Whelan's in Dublin, the venue where he first saw the artist that made him want to pursue music -- Damien Rice.
