Plot Synopsis

Co-created by and starring Cate Blanchett, STATELESS is a one-hour drama series about four strangers whose lives collide at the Barton immigration detention center in the middle of the Australian desert: Sofie, an airline hostess on the run from a dangerous cult; Ameer, an Afghan refugee and his family fleeing persecution; Cam Sandford, a young father escaping a dead-end job; and Clare Kowitz, an ambitious bureaucrat running out of time to contain a national scandal. STATELESS had its U.S. premiere on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Netflix released all six episodes.
