Plot Synopsis

The puck drops on the 2023 Stanley Cup Final, featuring the Florida Panthers vs. Vegas Golden Knights, on Saturday, June 3 at 8pm ET/5pm PT on TNT, TBS, and truTV. Pregame starts at 7pm ET/4pm PT. A first-time Stanley Cup winner will be crowned, as Hart Trophy Finalist Matthew Tkachuk, Sergei Bobrovsky and the Florida Panthers face off against Jack Eichel, Mark Stone & the Western Conference No. 1 Seed Vegas Golden Knights.

After defeating the history-making Boston Bruins in a thrilling seven games, the Panthers moved past the Toronto Maple Leafs in five and swept the Carolina Hurricanes in the Eastern Conference Final. They are making their first Final appearance since 1996.

The second-newest club in the league, the Golden Knights shut down the Winnipeg Jets in five and the dangerous Edmonton Oilers in six, and then beat Joe Pavelski and the Dallas Stars in six in the Western Conference Final. They are making their second Stanley Cup Final appearance, having captured the Western Conference championship in the franchise's inaugural 2017-2018 season.

Calling the first-ever Stanley Cup Final on Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) Sports' Networks are:

- Kenny Albert: second Stanley Cup Final providing play-by-play for television (10th overall, including radio)

- Eddie Olczyk: 16th Stanley Cup Final as lead analyst

- Keith Jones: first as Stanley Cup Final game analyst (17th overall appearance, including studio commentating)

- Darren Pang: 13th Stanley Cup Final as a game commentator/reporter (18th overall appearance, including studio commentating)

- Jackie Redmond: first Stanley Cup Final as game reporter

Live game coverage throughout the Stanley Cup Final begins at 7pm ET/4pm PT each night on-site in Las Vegas, NV, and Sunrise, FL, with NHL on TNT Face Off Presented by Verizon hosted by Liam McHugh, alongside hockey icon Wayne Gretzky, Vezina Trophy winner Henrik Lundqvist, 10-year NHL veteran Anson Carter and Calder Cup Champion Paul Bissonnette.
