Plot Synopsis

THE STANDUPS is a series of half-hour comedy specials, featuring the freshest voices taking the stage in the City of Angels for sets packed with sly jokes, hilarious anecdotes and awkward confessions. Filmed live at the Cicada Restaurant and Club (Season 1) and the Globe Theatre (Season 2) in Los Angeles and the Edison Ballroom (Season 3) in New York City, each comic brings a uniquely fresh and hilarious take on life in this intimate series of comedy shows. On Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the entire six-episode first season of THE STANDUPS, featuring the comedic talents of Nate Bargatze, Deon Cole, Fortune Feimster, Nikki Glaser, Dan Soder and Beth Stelling.
