Plot Synopsis

Host Ricky Paull Goldin uses email, online forums (Craigslist) and social media (Facebook, Twitter) to arrange a flash mob of laborers and carpenters who help him finish a home improvement project for an unsuspecting homeowner, while the mob performs choreographed dance numbers between painting and plastering. Each 30-minute episode chronicles a job that Ricky and the mob complete for one homeowner, including: Tom and Lizzy, who get a backyard makeover of their dreams; Theresa and Mark, whose messy backyard gets a new deck and a transformed space with a nautical theme; Kurt and Amanda, who get a welcoming kitchen that accommodates the entire family; Chris and Julie, whose sloping backyard is transformed into a large patio area; Stephane and JoAnn, whose front yard received new landscaping for a stone front porch to welcome visitors; Matt and Justine, who get a backyard makeover with an open deck space, a wide patio, and plenty of space for entertaining; Alex and Melissa, whose backyard -- which only had a dilapidated shed -- is made over with a large deck; Rick and Heather, whose barn gets transformed, including a kitchen renovation; Paul and Elizabeth, whose new backyard includes a new pool and landscaping; Julie and Danny, who receive a kitchen and family room makeover for their five children; and Todd and Allison, who get a new bar and pebble-tec pool as part of their backyard makeover. HGTV aired back-to-back episodes of this program on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 8pm ET, but had not yet scheduled additional episodes.
