Plot Synopsis

In this animated spinoff of SPIRIT RIDING FREE, a new chapter begins for Lucky and her friends as they leave Miradero behind to live and learn at the prestigious Palomino Bluffs Riding Academy. With academy life on the horizon, the PALs work together to tame wild yearling Governor before they leave. But maybe he's not meant to be broken. On their first day at Palomino Bluffs, the girls are determined to make a good impression. The PALs run into their old rivals the BUDs on the first day of classes, prompting Lucky to run for class rep. After meeting her riding idols, Pru vows to practice until she's perfect --- even if it means missing out on a bonfire her best friends are planning. On Friday, April 3, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the entire seven-episode first season of SPIRIT RIDING FREE: RIDING ACADEMY.

Netflix released the entire nine-episode second season of SPIRIT RIDING FREE: RIDING ACADEMY on Friday, September 4, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT. In Season 2, the PALs return to the Palomino Bluffs Riding Academy, where a new term brings big mysteries, fresh friendships and a chance to save the school!
