Plot Synopsis

When their real father is sent to prison, three young brothers hire a charming, wayward schemer to stand in as their father. They find Ron Snuffkin in a sporting goods store, and he draws on his vast bag of tricks to run a single-parent home. Their relationship ends up as an ongoing chess match to see who can outsmart whom and who will gain power in the household. The boys are: Robby (age 8), a loose cannon who doesn't respond well to authority; Gary (age 11), a bright and street-savvy leader and con man; Brandon (age 13), a gentle free spirit who is along for the ride.
