Plot Synopsis

Created by Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan, SOLAR OPPOSITES is an animated comedy series that centers on a team of four aliens who escape their exploding home world only to crash land into a move-in ready home in suburban America. They are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Korvo and Yumyulack only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty while Terry and Jesse love humans and all their TV, junk food and fun stuff. Their mission: protect the Pupa, a living super computer that will one day evolve into its true form, consume them and terraform the Earth. On Friday, May 8, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Hulu released the entire eight-episode first season of SOLAR OPPOSITES.

SOLAR OPPOSITES returned for its second season on Friday, March 26, 2021, as Hulu released the entire eight-episode new season. In the season opener, "The Sacred Non-Repeating Number," the Solar Opposites have repaired their ship and are heading to space, unless something goes hilariously wrong...

On Monday, November 22, 2021, Hulu released "A Very Solar Holiday Opposites Special." The Solars don't understand the holidays, but that won't stop them from trying!

The third season of SOLAR OPPOSITES debuted on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, as Hulu released the entire 11-episode new season. In Season 3, this alien team strives to be less of a team and more of a family. In the season opener, "The Extremity Triangulator," the Solar Opposites have repaired their ship again and are finally heading to space. No way things go wrong this time.

Hulu released "A Sinister Halloween Scary Opposites Solar Special" on Monday, October 3, 2022. Sometimes alien life can be spooky, so the Solar Opposites do a Halloween special.

Season 4 of SOLAR OPPOSITES premiered on Monday, August 14, 2023 on Hulu, which released all 11 episodes of the new season. Dan Stevens has joined the cast of as the new voice of Korvo. In the new season, SOLAR OPPOSITES pack up the sci-fi and get normal... for a second. Then it's back to classic Solar chaos, mayhem in the Wall, and some all new Silvercops adventures!

On Monday, February 5, 2024, Hulu released "An Earth Shatteringly Romantic Solar Valentine's Day Opposites Special," a new SOLAR OPPOSITES special. The Solar Opposites get romantic AF in their very first Valentine's Day Special.

SOLAR OPPOSITES has been renewed for a fifth season.
