Plot Synopsis
Each Sunday night, IFC broadcasts a theatrical film consistent with that month's theme. Plus, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema shows thematically paired movie line-ups on Sundays. SLIGHTLY OFF CINEMA kicked off in January 2014 with a theme of "Novel Flicks," focused on movies based on bestselling books. Subsequent months featured these themes: "Down with Love" (Feb. 2014); "Life of Crime" (Mar. 2014); Cheech & Chong stoner comedies (Apr. 2014).

The theme for May 2014 was "Big Bads," with IFC showing GOODFELLAS (May 4 @ 8pm), MACHETE (May 11 @ 8pm), SCARFACE (May 18 @ 8pm), and THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION (May 25 @ 8pm).
