Plot Synopsis

SHE-RA AND THE PRINCESS OF POWER is a half-hour animated series that tells the story of an orphan named Adora, who leaves behind her former life in the evil Horde when, on a training mission in the Whispering Woods, she discovers the Sword of Protection, which transforms her into the mythical warrior princess She-Ra. Even though she leaves behind her best friend Catra, who stays with the evil Horde, She-Ra finds a new family in the Rebellion as she unites a group of magical princesses, Bow and Glimmer, in the ultimate fight against evil. Netflix released the 13-episode first season of SHE-RA AND THE PRINCESS OF POWER on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT.

Season 2 of SHE-RA AND THE PRINCESS OF POWER premiered on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Netflix released the entire seven-episode second season. In the new season, Adora and the Princess Alliance train to get stronger, but Catra and the Horde are on the move. As Hordak pushes for victory, She-Ra faces a new test. In the season opener, "The Frozen Forest," he Horde's bots attack the Woods, but the princesses can't capture one intact. Though Glimmer struggles with leadership, Catra has no such problems.

Netflix released the six-episode third season of SHE-RA AND THE PRINCESS OF POWER premiered on Friday, August 2, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT. In Season 3, Catra and Adora journey to the Crimson Waste, looking for redemption and answers, while Hordak's portal research puts Etheria's very reality at risk. The season opens with Shadow Weaver appearing in Bright Moon, refusing to speak to anyone but Adora. As Catra awaits punishment, Entrapta pushes Hordak on the portal project.

SHE-RA AND THE PRINCESS OF POWER returned for its 13-episode fourth season on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Netflix released the entire season. Jacob Tobia voices Double Trouble, a non-binary shape-shifting mercenary from the Crimson Waste, who joins forces with Catra and the Horde. Catra vows to conquer Etheria before Horde Prime arrives, Glimmer struggles with a new role, and Adora and the princesses face treachery old and new. In the season opener, "The Coronation," the day of Glimmer's coronation arrives, overshadowed by grief. Accompanied by Adora and Bow, she embarks on a quest to find the Chamber of Queens.

On Friday, May 15, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the entire 13-episode fifth and final season of SHE-RA AND THE PRINCESS OF POWER. As the princesses struggle to keep the rebellion alive under Horde Prime's occupation, Adora must decide how to help her friends -- without She-Ra. In the season opener, "Horde Prime," Adora, Micah and the princesses search for a way to fight back and to rescue Glimmer. On Horde Prime's flagship, Catra schemes. Then, in "Launch," Adora takes a much-needed rest, and Mermista reluctantly leads the princesses into the Fright Zone so Entrapta can try to trace Horde Prime's signal.
