Plot Synopsis

Created by Jacinth Tan, SHARKDOG is an animated series that follows 10-year-old Max and his best friend Sharkdog -- a companion that's half shark, half dog, but all appetite. Blissfully unaware of his own strength, stealth and general sharkiness, Sharkdog often leaves a trail of chaos in his wake. But, like all good half-dogs, he's Max's BFF, and the duo take on any silly or messy adventures with Max's BFFs Olivia and Royce. The entire seven-episode first season of SHARKDOG dropped on Friday, September 3, 2021 on Netflix, with each episode comprised of three 7-minute stories.

On Friday, October 15, 2021, Netflix released "Sharkdog's Fintastic Halloween," a 24-minute SHARKDOG Halloween special. The Sharkpack gets ready for Halloween with the spooky legend of the "Fearsome Fog" -- and Sharkdog must save trick-or-treating from a slimy sea monster!

The entire seven-episode second season of SHARKDOG dropped on Thursday, June 30, 2022 on Netflix. Sharkdog's no longer a secret, but that doesn't keep Max and the rest of the Sharkpack away from more hijinks with tons of heart -- and lots of clean up! In the season opener, "The Sharkdog Days of Summer; No Fishes in This School; Going Wild," Max and Sharkdog dash home from a beach day to clean up their mess; Sharkdog sneaks into the first day of school; and Sharkdog's too wild for the dog park.

SHARKDOG returned for its third season on Thursday, April 27, 2023 on Netflix, as the streaming service released all seven episodes of the new season. Sharkdog loves being a part of Max's family, but he wonders if there are more Sharkdogs out there like him -- and goes on a wild adventure to find out! In the season opener, "Sharks, Dogs and Sharkdogs; Sharkdoggy Day; Fins That Go Bump in the Night," Sharkdog spends the day on his own; Barb and Sharkdog search for a secret map; and the boys get spooked after watching a scary movie at a sleepover.
