Plot Synopsis

Written and executive produced by Steven Knight, SEE is a one-hour sci-fi drama series that's set 600 years in the future after a virus has decimated humankind and rendered the remaining population blind. When all humanity has lost the sense of sight, humans must adapt and find new ways to survive. But Baba Voss is the father of twins born with the mythic ability to see -- who must protect his tribe against a threatened queen. The first three episodes of SEE premiered on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Apple TV+ released the series on the same day the streaming network launched. Two weeks before its debut, SEE had already been renewed for a second season.

SEE returned for its second season on Friday, August 27, 2021 on Apple TV+, as the streaming service released the first episode. A new episode drops each Friday through October 15. In Season 2, Baba Voss is fighting to reunite his torn-apart family and get away from the war and politics that surround him, but the more he moves away, the deeper he gets sucked in, and the emergence of his nemesis brother threatens his family even more. In the season opener, "Brothers and Sisters," Baba ventures into hostile territory in search of Haniwa. Queen Kane consecrates a new Payan capital and makes a surprising announcement.
On Friday, October 15, 2021 Apple TV+ released "Rock-a-Bye," the Season 2 finale of SEE. Baba and Edo lead their armies into an epic battle that builds to an intense face-off between the brothers.

Four months earlier -- on Thursday, June 10 -- Apple TV+ announced it renewed SEE for a third season.
