Plot Synopsis

GREEN PORNO, which focused on how animals mate, spawned this short-form series, SEDUCE ME, showcasing how animals seduce each other with different, varied and incredible strategies. Written, directed, and acted by Isabella Rossellini, each two-minute episode features the mating ritual of a different animal, including: "Bed Bugs," exploring the violent nature in which the blood-sucking baby bugs are conceived; "Cuttle Fish," showcasing how a male sneaks into a harem, poses as a female, sows his seed, and leaves several fish pregnant; "Duck," highlighting how females choose which male will father her ducklings by rejecting and redirecting the seed that doesn't suit her; "Salmon," showing how babies are born into the decay of their dead parents' bodies but manage to avenge their deaths by eating the parasites that attacked them; and "Snake," revealing how male garter snakes are monogamous and mated to a single female lover. Sundance Channel aired SEDUCE ME, in its entirety, on May 25, 2010 at 9:50pm ET, following its online release (April 20) and on-demand debut (May 5).
