Plot Synopsis

This four-part documentary follows the inspiring real-life stories of many modern-day ministers, evangelists and church leaders, highlighting their journeys of faith, hope and perseverance. Each 60-minute episode features at least four faith leaders, including Bishop T.D. Jakes, Rev. Bernice A. King, Rev. Dr. Jamal Bryant, Dr. Calvin O. Butts III, Bishop Charles E. Blake, Rev. Dr. David Jefferson Sr., Rev. Dr. Della Reese Lett, Bishop Keith Reed Sr., Rev. Dr. Marvin L, Pastor Lawrence Powell, Apostle Frederick K.C. Price, Bishop Joseph L. Garlington, Pastor John K. Jenkins Sr., Bishop Hezekiah Walker, Bishop Paul S. Morton, Pastor John K. Jenkins Sr., Rev. Al Sharpton Jr., and more. THE SCROLL: EVIDENCE OF LIFE UNSEEN was originally a feature-length film that was an Official Selection at the 2011 American Black Film Festival and 2011 Urbanworld Film Festival, and was also the Winner of Best Documentary at the 2012 Kingdomwood Film Festival and the 2011 North Carolina Family Film Festival. ASPiRE presented this film in four parts, celebrating Black History Month.
