Plot Synopsis

SCORNED: FATAL FURY is a half-hour documentary series that focuses on crimes of the heart, where an affair leads to jealousy -- and eventually death. In the series opener, "An Education in Murder," a neglected teacher turns to a wealthy, new coworker to alleviate his loneliness, but, when he decides to return to his wife, he neglects to tell his lover, who determines his marriage needs to end -- now. In the second episode, "When Hubby's Away, Wifey Will Play," a lonely wife involves her merchant marine husband in a sexy singles club, but she starts attending solo while he's at sea -- soon she meets a bouncer, which begins an illicit affair and, ultimately, ends someone's life.

SCORNED: FATAL FURY returned for its second season with back-to-back new episodes from 10-11pm ET/PT on Saturday, March 25, 2023 on Investigation Discovery. In the season opener (10pm), "Diagnosis: Diabolical," a woman loses that loving feeling for her physician husband, and the man wastes no time hiring high-end escorts; his wife is seemingly none the wiser, but when the spouses take their dog for a walk, the doctor may need to call for a doctor. In the night's second episode (10:30pm), "Military Love Triangle," a lonely psychologist seeks relief online while her military husband is away; she starts an affair with another soldier and they hit the local swingers club; someone is in their way, so an order goes out to eliminate the enemy.
