Plot Synopsis

When an emergency marine response company like SMIT gets a call, it guarantees a salvage team will be on scene within 24 hours. And that team has to work fast since it often needs to rescue people, save as much cargo as possible, prevent an environmental catastrophe, and salvage the ship. If the salvage teams aren't responding to emergencies, they're recovering goods from shipwrecks on the ocean floor. "Salvage: Code Red" is a five-episode series that highlights this extremely dangerous occupation as these teams are deployed to recover: a listing British ferry near Riverdance, the inferno on the Adriyatik near the Croatian coast, a stranded Mexican ferry that threatens a coastal reef, and many others.
