Plot Synopsis

After 25 years of estrangement and with one last chance for reconciliation, Ryan and Tatum O'Neal find themselves in family therapy, where deep and complex resentments surface. Tatum's anger centers around her sense of abandonment by Ryan, his volatile temper, and his oblivious attitude to her new sobriety. Ryan's bitterness is focused on his daughter's inability to accept his devotion to Farrah Fawcett, and the tell-all autobiography that Tatum wrote. Through all the humor and heartache, a new understanding is delicately built, and they re-kindle the dynamic that made them Hollywood darlings. This series premiered on Father's Day 2011 in honor of this emotional father/daughter relationship.
