Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Joey Fatone, each 30-minute episode of REWRAPPED features three chefs competing in two rounds of culinary challenges with the same iconic snack food as a theme. In the first round, the Recreate Challenge, all three competitors recreate their own snack food, trying to make it as close to the original as possible. In round two, the Innovate Challenge, all three cheftestants create an entirely new dish using the original snack food as a primary ingredient. Based on the scores of three judges -- Marc Summers and two guest judges -- the contestant with the overall highest score for both rounds wins a year's supply of that episode's tasty treat. The premiere episode featured Pepperidge Farm Cheddar Goldfish with one contestant creating Cheddar Goldfish-Stuffed Lobster during the Innovate Challenge. Subsequent episodes in Season 1 featured these snacks: Hostess Twinkies; Hostess CupCakes; Pepperidge Farm Mint Chocolate Milano Cookies; Entenmann's Rich Frosted Donuts; Entenmann's Original Recipe Chocolate Chip Cookies; SpaghettiOs with Meatballs; Tastykake Butterscotch Krimpets; Tastykake Glazed Cherry Pies; Herr's Potato Chips; Utz Pretzel Rods; Wise Cheez Waffies; and the Outback Bloomin' Onion. Season 1 guest judges include: pastry chef Jenny McCoy; Irene Britt Chang, the president of Pepperidge Farm; and many more chefs and executives. REWRAPPED returned for its second season on Monday, September 8, 2014 at 8pm ET/PT on Food Network. In the Season 2 opener, "Ho Ho You Didn't!," things might go south for one chef when he uses coconut oil to make his Ho Hos. Then, in the Innovate Round, one chef goes for a Ho Ho Crusted Duck Breast that just may be quacky enough to work.

In the season ender, "Oatmeal Raisin the Roof," three chefs put the pastry pedal to the metal when they have just 30 minutes to recreate the classic Pepperidge Farm Oatmeal Raisin Cookie. In the Innovate Round, the cookies hit the grill when one chef makes an Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Burger.
