Plot Synopsis

REVEALED is a one-hour docuseries that follows designer Veronica Valencia, as she customizes homes by diving into the family's ancestral heritage for her inspiration. Working with her expert team, Veronica digs deep to uncover each family's unique history and infuse the spaces in their home with the techniques, materials and heirlooms that reflect the family's culture. On Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 1pm ET/PT, HGTV premiered "Family Values," a sneak-peek episode of REVEALED. In this special episode, expecting newlyweds look to turn their ranch-style home into a gathering place for their diverse families. Veronica is challenged with pulling inspiration from Guam, Thailand and Scandinavia to re-envision their living spaces. HGTV had no other episodes on its schedule at that time.

REVEALED made its official series debut on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 10pm ET/PT on HGTV. In this new episode, "Telling Our Story," a couple wants to turn their multi-level home into something that represents more of their culture and ancestry. Veronica finds inspiration in their African roots and rich family history to redesign their kitchen, den, dining room and living room. Plus, she pays tribute by creating an heirloom sculpture inspired by the ancient Benin Bronzes. Throughout the series, Veronica incorporates creative and thoughtful heirloom pieces into each home, including a vintage style record console and a display case full of sentimental items honoring passed loved ones. She also spotlights cherished family photos and mementos previously stored away to renew each family's connection to their ancestors.
