Plot Synopsis

Allison DeMarcus hosts REEL EATS, a dinner-and-a-movie series that features select CMT films and easy-to-prepare recipes that viewers can recreate in their own kitchens. In each three-hour episode, Allison shows a movie, and during breaks she prepares a special dish, leads trivia segments about that night's movie, interviews country's biggest stars, welcomes notable chefs for cooking segments, answers viewer mail, and covers the latest Hollywood and country-music news. In the premiere episode, REEL EATS featured the movie GHOSTBUSTERS, as Allison called her husband, Rascal Flatt's bassist Jay DeMarcus, to be her official taste tester after she whipped up Miss Caron's Pizza Casserole, a recipe passed down from her mother-in-law.
