Plot Synopsis

When Marta Walraven's mob husband is murdered, she fills her husband's shoes and joins the family business, finding that she has the strength, resourcefulness, and determination to avenge his death and keep her family alive. Marta was a suburban housewife in Northern California with a loving husband, Evan, three amazing kids, and a beautiful home overlooking Sausalito. But behind this perfect facade was a family of organized criminals. Her father, Andrei Petrov, and his loyal bodyguard are Bratva, or Russian gangsters, in san Francisco. Her now-deceased husband supported the family by exporting marijuana. She turned a blind eye to their activities until Evan was assassinated on their driveway. Now, the truth about her husband's death emerges, and she learns that Evan's business partners -- Marta's scheming brother, Irwin Petrov, and their best friend, Mike Tomlin -- were involved in the theft of millions of dollars of cocaine from crime boss Nicholae Schiller.
