Plot Synopsis

Adapted from the manga of the same name, RECORD OF RAGNAROK is a half-hour anime series about the epic fight for the fate of humanity. Before eradicating humankind from the world, the gods give them one last chance to prove themselves worthy of survival. Let the Ragnarok battles begin. The entire 12-episode first season dropped on Thursday, June 17, 2021 on Netflix.

The sophomore season of RECORD OF RAGNAROK debuted on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Netflix, as the streaming service released the first 10 episodes of Season 2. Five additional episodes drop later in 2023. Humanity may be down, but their fight for survival is far from over. For the pivotal next round, a truly evil human emerges to face the next mighty god. In the season opener, "Good vs. Evil," the gods have no intention of letting the humans win the next round; for their next fighter, they present none other than the great hero, Hercules.
