Plot Synopsis

In each season of THE REAL WORLD HOMECOMING, the cast from a different REAL WORLD season reunite in the same iconic locations as the original series.

Season 1, THE REAL WORLD HOMECOMING: NEW YORK, reunites the original REAL WORLD cast in the iconic NYC loft, as the original seven strangers revisit the shocking moments and explosive issues that transpired during the historic season and discuss how they parallel in today's social climate. After spending decades apart, viewers reconvene with New York housemates Becky Blasband, Andre Comeau, Heather B. Gardner, Julie Gentry, Norman Korpi, Eric Nies and Kevin Powell to find out how the series transformed their lives since the cameras stopped rolling and to find out, once again, what happens when they stop being polite... and start getting real. This docuseries began streaming on Thursday, March 4, 2021 on Paramount+, the same day the streaming service launched.

The second season, THE REAL WORLD HOMECOMING: LOS ANGELES, debuted on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, as Paramount+ released the first episode. A new episode drops each Wednesday thereafter. Season 2 reunites original Los Angeles cast members Beth Anthony, Beth Stolarczyk, David Edwards, Glen Naessens, Irene Berrera-Kearns, Jon Brennan and Tami Roman in the same iconic Venice beach house from 1993. In the season opener, "It's Still Not Funny," the roommates move back into their original Venice beach house, 28 years later, to relive one of the most memorable seasons in reality TV history. Before they can truly reunite, they'll have to settle unfinished business.

Season 3 (THE REAL WORLD HOMECOMING: NEW ORLEANS) premiered on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, as Paramount+ released the first episode. This season, New Orleans cast members David "Tokyo" Broom, Melissa Beck, Jamie Murray, Danny Roberts, Matt Smith, Julie Stoffer and Kelley Wolf reunite in The Big Easy. After coming together for the first time in 22 years, decades-long feuds quickly resurface. Danny opens up about living in the spotlight, post-REAL WORLD; meanwhile, Julie's attempts to get back in the roommates' good graces are derailed by a wild night out. A new episode dropped each Wednesday through June 8.
