Plot Synopsis

THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF MIAMI follows a small group of the most socially-connected and influential women in Miami as they live their lives to the fullest in this sunny city where the party never stops. The housewives in Season 1 were: Lea Black is a Texas native leaving an indelible mark on Miami as she balances her homelife with her husband -- and top criminal defense attorney -- Roy and their 9-year-old son with her work as a community leader, raising money for politicians and her own charity, The Consequences Charity; Alexia Echevarria ("The Cuban Barbie") is the executive editor of "Venue Magazine," where she spotlights Latin culture's best fashion and up-and-coming celebrities, and she loves spending time at her Miami Beach home with her husband Herman and her two sons from a previous marriage; Marysol Patton is a Miami native who runs The Patton Group, one of the premiere PR firms in town, and in her spare time she hangs out with her mother Elsa, who is a seer sought by A-listers looking for spiritual guidance; Larsa Pippen, wife of NBA star Scottie Pippen and the unofficial "Hottest NBA Wife," is turning her three little boys into star athletes and shopping for her one-year-old princess; Cristy Rice is a Miami native who recently divorced from NBA star Glen Rice, and now her life is jam-packed with being a single mom to her three children, running her own clothing store, dancing at night, and dealing with relationship drama; Adriana DeMoura Sidi is a Brazilian bombshell who balances life as a full-time mom, wife to her new fiancee Frederic, and a highly respected art curator who is always on the go. For Season 2, Pippen and Rice did not return and Echevarria only appeared occasionally, but the following four women were added to the group: Lisa Hochstein, who is married to legendary Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Lenny Hochstein (aka Boob God); supermodel and TV host Joanna Krupa, who splits her time between Miami and Los Angeles after moving to the Capital of Latin America at age 19; successful lawyer and chef Ana Quincoces, who was Miami's "Hottest Chef" by "Eater Magazine" in 2011; and celebrity dentist Karent Sierra, who opened up her own private practice in Coral Gables and now refers to herself as a Miami native.
When Season 3 premiered on Monday, August 12, 2013 at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo, all of the women from the second season returned, except for Karent Sierra. In Season 3, both Joanna and Adriana plan their dream weddings, but not everything is smooth sailing as Joanna and Romain disagree about a pre-nup and Adriana deals with the aftermath of her friends finding out the truth about her relationship with her fiance. Lea finds new bonds forming and old friendships are put to the test as she tries to prove she is more than just a housewife. Alexia's focus remains on her two sons, including Frankie, who continues to make strides in his recovery from an automobile accident. Lisa struggles with fertility issues, but she is determined to grow her family and do whatever it takes to have a baby.
