Plot Synopsis

PUFFIN ROCK, an animated preschool series, is set on a beautiful island off the coast of Ireland, where Oona, a charismatic and plucky young puffling, lives in a burrow with Mama and Papa Puffin and her ever-curious little brother, Baba. The puffins share their island with a diverse array of sea, sky, land and underground creatures -- lots of them friends -- but a few of them foes! The series follows Oona and Baba on their exciting journey growing up on Puffin Rock. A rugged adventure playground full of wide-open spaces to run in, shady, hidden nooks to explore and fun friends to play with, but where the unexpected can be just around the corner. PUFFIN ROCK introduces a combination of preschool themes and soft natural history learnings to young viewers. Acclaimed actor Chris O'Dowd narrates the English language version, channels his inner David Attenborough, guiding viewers through to all Puffin Rock has to offer. Netflix debuted the U.S. premiere of this series on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, releasing the entire 13-episode first season.
