Plot Synopsis

PSYCH stars James Roday as young police consultant Shawn Spencer who solves crimes with powers of observation so acute the precinct detectives think he's psychic at least that's what he lets them believe. Series also stars Dule Hill as Shawn's best friend and reluctant sidekick Gus and Corbin Bernsen as Shawn's disapproving father, who ironically was the one who honed his son's ''observation'' skills as a child. Season 7 debuts on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 10pm ET, picking up with the previous season's cliffhanger: Henry is down with a bullet to the chest! As he is being rushed to the hospital fighting for his life, a spiteful Shawn seeks revenge on the shooter and everyone else involved in the scandal. Four weeks later, on March 27 at 10/9c, PSYCH celebrated its 100th episode with an homage to the 1985 film CLUE. In this landmark episode, Shawn and Gus invited to a mysterious party at a historic Santa Barbara mansion by Billy Lipps, a rock icon whom Shawn and the SBPD had sent to prison five years earlier for murder. When a new crime is committed, five potential suspects emerge: the Butler, the Groupie, the Manager, the Author and the Host. Plus, fans will determine the episode's outcome by casting their votes on psych.usanetwork.com. Leading up to the show's 100th episode, Cloo brought out all 99 episodes, starting with the pilot on Saturday, March 23 at 7/6c, with the episodes airing in order, until Wednesday's 100th installment.

On Wednesday, July 15, 2020 the NBCUniversal streaming service Peacock premiered PSYCH 2: LASSIE COME HOME, an original movie with the cast from the original USA Network series. Santa Barbara Police Chief Carlton Lassiter is ambushed on the job and left for dead. In a vintage Psych-style Hitchcockian nod, he begins to see impossible happenings around his recovery clinic. Shawn and Gus return to Lassie's side in Santa Barbara and are forced to navigate the personal, the professional, and possibly the supernatural. Separated from their new lives in San Francisco, our heroes find themselves unwelcome in their old stomping grounds as they secretly untangle a twisted case without the benefit of the police, their loved ones, or the quality sourdough bakeries of the Bay Area. What they uncover will change the course of their relationships forever. Starring James Roday, Dule Hill, Timothy Omundson, Maggie Lawson, Corbin Bernsen and Kristen Nelson. Gust Stars: Joel McHale, Sarah Chalke, Richard Sciff, Kurt Fuller, Jazmyn Simon, Kadeem Hardison, Allison Miller, Kristy Swanson, Jimmi Simpson, Christopher Heyerdahl. PSYCH 2: LASSIE COMES HOME is written by Steve Franks who also directed, Andy Berman and James Roday. Executive Producers are Steve Franks, Dule Hill, James Roday, and Chris Henze.
