Plot Synopsis

PRIMAL SURVIVOR is a one-hour reality series that follows wilderness guide and survival expert Hazen Audel as he tackles some of the world's most rigorous journeys through hostile environments. Audel's challenges in the latest season include battling powerful ocean currents and storms in a tiny boat off Taiwan, dodging deadly snakes and spiders in the Australian outback and navigating precarious cliffs and raging rivers in Mexico's Copper Canyons.

Season 2 of PRIMAL SURVIVOR premiered on Nat Geo Wild on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 8-9pm ET/PT, as the cable channel debuted back-to-back new episodes: "Crocodile Hunter" (8pm) -- Hazen searches for an isolated village in Papua New Guinea that once practiced cannibalism; "Operation Deep Freeze" (8:30pm) -- Hazen is on a mission to deliver 200 reindeer to their spring habitat inside the Arctic Circle. In the rest of Season 2, Hazen continues to pit his unique survival skills against the most extreme environments in the world.

The fifth season of PRIMAL SURVIVOR had its U.S. premiere on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 from 9-11pm ET/PT, as Nat Geo debuted back-to-back episodes. In the season opener, "Jungle Ambush" (9pm), Hazen joins the Mani tribe on a hunt in the remote jungles of the Malay Peninsula. Then, in the second episode, "Wild Animal Adventures" (10pm), Hazen reveals what it takes to live alongside some of the wildest animals on Earth.

On Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 10pm ET/PT, National Geographic Channel premiered the sixth season of PRIMAL SURVIVOR. In the season opener, "Mighty Jungle," Hazen Audel joins indigenous tribes across remote jungles.
