Plot Synopsis

In each half-hour episode of POOL KINGS, one family commissions a team to build a spectacular pool, revealing how the team designs and builds the backyard oasis while overcoming obstacles. On Monday, May 30, 2016 from 9-11pm ET/PT, DIY Network premiered four back-to-back episodes, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time.

"Desert Oasis in Sin City" (9pm): Mike Baldasare and Jim Bellamy, two best friends that build award winning pools for clients all across the southwest, head to Las Vegas to build a dream pool for Shane and Willow Jager's brand new dream home. The Jagers are a beachy family of 6 that wants a tropical feel to match their southern California tastes, but conditions make for a challenging build.

"Tennessee Dream Pool" (9:30pm): The Yarbrough family, Franklin Tennessee locals, call upon the experts at Peek Pools and Spas to build their dream pool. They've dreamt of having a backyard pool and entertaining space to complete their forever home, and before the whole family returns from London the team at Peek Pools needs to make their dream a reality. The Yarbrough's won't be around during construction, so the surprise of their life awaits them when they return home.

"The Pirate Treasure Pool" (10pm): Kelly Caviness and his team are building two specacular pools. The first is a modern, kid-friendly retreat for Mike, Lisa and their 2 children. They dream of a pool where all the neighborhood kids can come play. The other pool is an epic pirate-themed water park complete with a hidden treasure room and animatronic pirates - easily the biggest project Kelly has ever taken on! With challenging elements in both pools including a never-attempted-before brand new design, can the Pool Kings make their clients' dreams come true?

"Making a Splash in Arizona" (10:30pm): Jeromey and Jay of Premier Paradise create a personal resort for Arizona newcomers: Sally and Samer. Beginning with a blank desert canvas, our Pool Kings are tasked with creating a resort-style backyard perfect for entertaining as their clients kickstart their new life. Three waterfalls defy gravity, a BBQ pit, floating table and a fire pit add a modern touch to this beautiful backyard resort.

One year later -- on Monday, May 29, 2017 -- POOL KINGS returned for its official series premiere at 9pm ET/PT on DIY Network with back-to-back new episodes:

"From Eyesore to Ultimate Pool Party Paradise" (9pm): A family that loves to entertain relocates from Chicago to Nashville and is in desperate need of a pool for the hot summer days. However, their current backyard is an eyesore and not functional for the kids, so the renovation experts work to transform the space into the ultimate pool party paradise.

"All the Way Around' (9:30pm): Mike and Jim have their work cut out for them when a Palm Springs couple wants to transform their narrow three-sided backyard into a personal resort by adding a grotto, zen area, putting green, oversized spa and beach entry.
Season 2 of POOL KINGS debuted on Monday, May 28, 2018 at 9pm ET/PT on DIY Network, with Paul Zars and Tony Aguasvivas creating the ultimate outdoor experience for families in San Antonio, TX, and the surrounding area. In the season opener, "Hill Country Heaven," after years of clearing and construction, Rene and Kelly are finally ready to put in a pool that completes their beautiful, 20-acre San Antonio property. Tony and Paul are confident the couple will love the huge natural waterfall, stacked-stone spa and spacious baja shelf they have designed. Finding a way to tie the stunning new pool in with the existing beloved backyard pond is going to be a challenge, though.
