Plot Synopsis

Co-created and executive produced by Tony Yacenda and Dan Perrault, PLAYERS is a 10-episode docu-style comedy series that follows a fictional pro "League of Legends" Esports team as they pursue their first championship after years of close calls and heartache. To win it all, they need their prodigy, a 17-year-old rookie, and their 27-year-old veteran to put their egos aside and work together. League of Legends solo-que player Keldon Elmore (aka Organizm) is recruited by owner Nathan Resnick to join his favorite team: Fugitive. At Asset Day, Legacy team member Creamcheese is miffed when Org is elevated to the A-team and his friend Frugger is demoted. During Organizm's first professional match, he goes rogue, causing the team to lose. Encouraged by coach Braxton to apologize, Organizm leaves Creamcheese a voicemail that begins sincere, but quickly turns, establishing a new team rivalry. The first four episodes of PLAYERS dropped on Thursday, June 16, 2022 on Paramount+. A new episode dropped each Thursday through July 28.

On Thursday, July 28, 2022, Paramount+ released "Yuumi," the Season 1 finale of PLAYERS. Creamcheese and Organizm get over their conflict as Cream realizes Org is the key to victory. With Creamcheese behind him, Org finally secures a LCS Champion win for Fugitive Gaming. But he's dismayed to find the rest of the team is less serious about competing in Worlds. In flash forward, Org partners with Resnick and leaves Fugitive Gaming to become a solo queue player on the Korean server.
