Plot Synopsis

While searching for his ex-wife Ginny's killers, Alex, a former military operative turned security expert, is drawn into a high-stakes game in Las Vegas, where an organization of wealthy individuals called The House gamble on his ability to stop the biggest crimes from playing out. Keeping an eye on the events is Johnson, the Pit Boss for The Game, who is also capable of cleaning up a mess when things spiral too far out of control. Along the way, Alex (aka The Player) also gets help from: Cassandra (aka The Dealer), a rule-breaker with her own history in the intelligence and counter-terrorist world, who is also manipulating him for her own secret agenda; and his friend Cal, a Las Vegas Police detective.

On Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT, NBC premiered "Tell," the season finale of THE PLAYER. Alex receives a major clue about Ginny's disappearance and teams up with Cassandra to make sure that his next assignment might actually lead him to his ex-wife. Knowing that Mr. Johnson can't be trusted, they know that they have a limited time before he might sabotage this mission. Meanwhile agents Cal Brown and Rose Nolan make a major breakthrough and are able to identify someone who works for the house. THE PLAYER is not scheduled to return with additional episodes this season after its episode count was cut from 13 to nine in late October 2015.
