Plot Synopsis

Two first cousins from Staten Island, pizza aficionados Francis Garcia and Sal Basille, travel across America, as they taste, meet, and discover everything related to pizza. In each 30-minute episode of PIZZA CUZ, Fran and Sal visit three locations that have a common characteristic, including: pizza masters, as the duo heads to Apizza Scholls (Portland, OR) for house-smoked bacon pizza, Oakland for wild nettles and sausage slices, and New York City to make their own Burrata cheese; neighborhood pizzerias, with Colony Grill (Fairfield, CT) owned by four childhood friends, Buddy's Restaurant Pizzeria (Detroit, MI) for a lesson on the origins of the Detroit Sicilian, and New Jersey for the oldest, continuously run pizzeria in America; and unique dough recipes and techniques, with no-knead dough at New York City's Company, sourdough pizza crust in Northern California, and cornmeal deep-dish crust from Dove Vivi in Oregon.
