Plot Synopsis

In this hybrid 2D animation/live-action series, two small-town teens, the emotional Pickle and the freewheeling Peanut, embark upon their last year of high school, determined to cram in as much fun as possible before taking on the inevitable adulthood responsibilities. The two underdogs dream up plans to be anything but ordinary in their slightly bizarre fictional suburb of Reno, NV. Each half-hour episode features two stories, including: "Greg," as Pickle lends his new pimple friend, Greg, to frenemy Lazer in hopes of landing an invitation to his cool party; "Gramma Jail," as Pickle and Peanut accidentally get the sweet elderly Mam Mams arrested, so they have to break her out of jail before inmate Psycho Cyclops can get to her; and many more offbeat teenage adventures. On Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 9:30-9:45pm ET/PT, Disney XD premiered a 15-minute sneak-peek episode of this series, five days before the official series premiere on Monday, September 7, 2015 from 9-9:30pm ET/PT.

Season 2 of PICKLE AND PEANUT premiered on Monday, October 23, 2017 from 7-8am ET/PT, as Disney XD premiered back-to-back new episodes:

"Huge Reward; Bear-I-Cade" (7am): When L'il Pickle is lost, Pickle offers a huge reward for his pet's safe return; a menacing bear threatens Pickle and Peanut's boys' weekend together.

"Camp; Freeway Island" (7:30am): In this special Halloween episode, the duo tries to get the summer camp experience they never had when they stumble upon a spooky abandoned campground; Pickle and Peanut crash their van onto a freeway island and must learn how to survive on it.
