Plot Synopsis

PERPETUAL GRACE, LTD is a 10-episode modern noir drama series that follows young grifter James, as he attempts to prey upon Pastor Byron Brown, who turns out to be far more dangerous than he suspects. The pastor and his wife Lillian -- known to their parishioners as Pa and Ma -- have used religion to bilk hundreds of innocent people out of their life savings. The series opens with Pa and Ma discovering drug addict James on an empty New Mexico road and bring him home to their ranch in Half Acre, NM.

On Sunday, August 4, 2019 at 10pm ET/PT, EPIX premiered "A Sheriff in the Era of the Cartel," the season finale of PERPETUAL GRACE, LTD. Pa and Ma are driven to the killing fields in Mexico, while James prepares for a funeral in Half Acre.
