Plot Synopsis

When alluring singer Katharina Laufer is found murdered, with her scent glands excised from her body, detectives probe a group of five former friends who attended boarding school with her -- and who all share an obsession with scent. A missing persons case linked to the boarding school is reopened. When the friends play a strange game, tensions between Butsche and Roman boil over. The detectives make a gruesome discovery. At the brothel, Butsche bonds with Pearl's daughter, Elsie. Nadja learns about the group's shared obsession. PERFUME, based on the novel of the same name by Patrick Suskind, had its U.S. premiere on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Netflix released all six episodes.
